Weber County Conservatives is actively engaged in civics, providing education and training for every level of Republican Party leadership. We believe that when citizens rediscover their rights and duties of citizenship, they become stronger contributors to the shared responsibility of self-government.
Within the Party, we know that the more confident grassroots members are in their volunteer roles, the more active and effective they become. Their engagement strengthens the conservative voice in leadership and helps realign the Party with its founding principles, as stated in our platform and governing documents.
Our Mission
To build a stronger, more conservative grassroots Republican Party by educating and training State & County Party leaders, Delegates, Legislative District officers, Precinct Chairs & Vice Chairs, and Central Committee Representatives on their proper roles in the caucus-convention system.
Our Story
In Weber County’s heartland, beneath Utah’s towering Wasatch peaks, a conservative fire burns. Weber County Conservatives aren’t just a group...we’re a movement, wielding the Utah Republican Party Platform to ignite a revival of self-government. Our platform declares government exists by our consent, tasked with protecting God-given rights of life, liberty, and property. We’re answering that call with fierce resolve, training citizens to reclaim their civic duties and steer the Republican Party back to its founding truths. This is our story...a clarion call to make Weber County a beacon of freedom in a nation teetering on tyranny’s edge.
Picture an Ogden community hall, alive with neighbors...farmers, teachers, entrepreneurs...learning to lead. We’re equipping every level of Republican leadership, from precinct chairs to county delegates, with workshops on caucuses, bylaws, and the Constitution’s enduring fire. The Utah GOP Platform demands limited government, and we’re ensuring our grassroots embody it. A nervous volunteer in Roy becomes a bold precinct captain; a quiet North Ogden voter transforms into a delegate holding leaders to principle, not popularity. Each trained conservative strengthens our Party’s spine, aligning it with Ezra Taft Benson’s 1976 truth: man, not government, is sovereign.
In a Republic where taxes devour incomes and dependency threatens collapse, Weber County Conservatives are forging statesmen, not spectators. Our education turns apathy into action, empowering citizens to challenge bloated bureaucracies and defend divine rights, as our platform insists.
