Utah's Caucus System Is Our Path to MAGA Victory
A Mock Caucus / Practice Caucusing event is planned: February 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Roy Library (2039 W 4000 S, Roy, UT). This is hosted and promoted in connection with Weber GOP, described as a "night of practice caucusing"...ideal for hands-on training on how the process works.
Now is a good time to remember the fight really is a local struggle...especially here in Utah, where our unique neighborhood caucus-convention system gives everyday patriots incredible power to shape the Republican Party from the ground up.
2020 election fraud was only possible because Republicans either helped Democrats, or lacked the backbone to stand up to them. For example, the GOP controlled Maricopa County, but that didn’t stop all the shenanigans, and Joe Biden “won” the county. In Georgia, the GOP governor and Secretary of State blocked every attempt to clean up the obviously corrupt vote-counting in Atlanta; the FBI raided a Georgia election office on Wednesday January 28th as it examined allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 US election.
I still feel the shock and rage of Republican office holders helping Democrats cheat in the 2020 election. That rage was magnified when it finally dawned on me that establishment Republicans wanted Trump to lose. RINOs obviously hate us. RINOs are a huge obstacle to making America great again.
Trump is a machine, but alone he cannot reverse decades of accumulated problems.
In his first term, President Trump was sabotaged by RINOs he appointed to key offices stabbing him in the back. Trump apparently underestimated the power of Deep State bureaucrats to utterly defeat a presidential agenda with which they disagreed, failing to understand how entrenched the swamp really was.
I think the 2020 election theft shocked Trump out of the politics-as-usual style of his first administration. Each leftist attack seemed to make him stronger and more assured. Trump before the 2020 theft was bad enough for the left. They were fools not to realize their failed attacks were creating an implacable political monster that could destroy them.
Now, Trump is back in charge, and America desperately needs to restore our values and renew government at all levels—federal, state, county, city, school boards, judicial system, etc. But that won’t happen until millions of MAGA people get more politically active at all levels. In Utah, that starts with our powerful caucus system.
Some suggestions tailored for us:
If you’ve never attended a neighborhood caucus (usually at local schools or churches right after primaries in even years), do it this cycle...it changes your view of politics. You’ll meet fellow MAGA people and vote for America First delegates to county conventions, which are real eye-openers on party power.
Our goal is MAGA nation victory. We need key wins soon, but it will take years to eradicate the political rot and decades to crush cultural evil.
Trump can’t do it alone. In Utah, with our caucus system, the real work starts in your neighborhood precinct...get active now.

- Attend your Neighborhood Caucus meeting: Go to precinctportal.org or utgop.org/caucuses to find your precinct location and meeting on March 17th. Show up, meet your neighbors, nominate and vote for precinct officers (chair, vice-chair, etc.) and delegates. This is where you identify fellow MAGA patriots and elect America First delegates to county and state conventions...who then vet and nominate candidates.
- Run or support MAGA candidates for precinct positions or delegate: Become a precinct chair, vice-chair, or delegate yourself. You’ll help organize voter drives, watch elections, and influence who advances to primaries.
- Attend county and state conventions: As a delegate elected at caucus, you’ll vote on party leadership, platform, and candidates. Check our county GOP site www.webergop.org/ for organizing conventions and meetings.
- Republican Party activity in Utah: Volunteer as an election worker, poll watcher, door knocker, or canvasser through your county party. Work smart alongside any RINOs...don’t antagonize them. Our goal is taking the GOP away from them by out-organizing at the grassroots.
- Campaign worker: Find a candidate as close to MAGA as possible, any office. Even a solid conservative in a key race builds experience and contacts. Learn in the trenches.
- Join a local action group fighting an issue you support, like election integrity (check Utah Election Integrity groups).
- Join a parental rights group, especially if you have school-age kids...groups like Utah Parents United are fighting vital cultural battles in schools and on school boards.
- Start attending city, county, or school board meetings: Priceless info on officials and how things work. Build contacts—many are in places like West Jordan or Salt Lake County.
- Take notes, build your contacts list, learn to navigate personalities and opinions.
